Rathlin Island and Bird Watching
If you fancy a day trip to somewhere different, why not go to
Rathlin Island Kebble Nature Reserve. It is a 13 mile round trip,
a duration of 6 hours. The ferry terminal is at Church Bay. The
ferry leaves the coastal town of Ballycastle, a forty-five minute
drive north from the hotel, each morning and returns each evening
(weather permitting).
If you wish to go to Rathlin Island to do some bird watching
it is advisable to contact the RSPB warden on Rathlin to arrange
access to the west lighthouse observation platform (Tel. 028 2076
3948).

Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge
Enjoy the challenge of crossing the precarious Carrick-A-Rede
rope bridge which crosses a 24m deep and 18m wide chasm which
gives access to a salmon fishery. Stunning views over the sea to
the Scottish coast. Coastal walks along the limestone headland.
