Rathlin Island and Bird Watching
If you fancy a day trip to somewhere different, why not go to Rathlin Island Kebble Nature Reserve. It is a 13 mile round trip, a duration of 6 hours. The ferry terminal is at Church Bay. The ferry leaves the coastal town of Ballycastle, a forty-five minute drive north from the hotel, each morning and returns each evening (weather permitting).

If you wish to go to Rathlin Island to do some bird watching it is advisable to contact the RSPB warden on Rathlin to arrange access to the west lighthouse observation platform (Tel. 028 2076 3948).
