A very special place
The service at the Londonderry Arms was
exceptional. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Nothing was too much trouble. We were on a
walking holiday and the staff were very helpful
regarding local walks and places to visit. The
hotel is very inviting, with spacious lounges
for relaxing over tea or coffee, with comforting
roaring fires. Excellent food freshly prepared.
I cannot think of anything they could have done
better and all at a very reasonable cost! |

Relaxation
When considering where to stay, there is always emphasis put on
the accommodation and restaurant. But there is also a lot of time
where guests just want to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
Because of the style of the Londonderry Arms there are a
number of different areas to do just that - relax.
The Drawing Room provides elegance and tranquillity - the
ideal place to enjoy a cup of tea and read a magazine.
The Arkle Bar is a small snug style bar. The walls are
covered with all types of memorabilia. This is the ideal place for
a glass of Guinness and a read of the newspaper.
There are also open areas with open fires in other areas of
the hotel so plenty of scope to find that small nook and cranny
for a spot of peaceful contemplation. |
